On March 22, 2026, Protopresbyter Giorgi Mathureli conducted a memorial service for the soul of the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia, Ilia II, at the Church of Saint Nicholas in Thessaloniki, which was attended by employees of the Consulate General of Georgia, their family members, and representatives of the Georgian diaspora.
